Why Support IPF?
It is said: the best things in life are free. The air that we breathe, the sun that warms us, and life's opportunities that afford us the freedom we enjoy are all components in building a better quality of life. Parks exemplify this freedom, allowing human elements to meet natural elements in common places.
Why Parks are Important
The growth and social well being of every Indianapolis community relies on parks. Your help is needed. We must continue to bring Indianapolis parks to the world-class level they deserve. With your help and our desire to assure future generations enjoy our most precious resources, our city will continue to grow as the world-class frontier for work, play and growth. Indianapolis Parks Foundation - Building Parks for Life. Your support of the Indianapolis Parks Foundation will provide more opportunities for
- children to participate in after school programs
- older adults to remain active and maintain their quality of life throughout their life
- families to enjoy concerts, aquatic programs and cultural activities
- our community to continue to build and maintain a world-class parks system
- all individuals to enjoy clean, safe and well maintained parks.
In The Grand Plan, Your Support is Needed
The Indianapolis Parks Foundation raises private funds for these indispensable parks, playgrounds, swimming pools and open green space and trails for everyone in Indianapolis. A non-profit organization working in partnership with Indy Parks and Recreation, IPF enlists individuals, corporations and foundations in its efforts. Indy Parks, a tax-funded city organization, cannot build and maintain a world-class parks system on its own. Private support is essential. Every dollar counts. Please consider donating to IPF today. Together, we will enrich the lives of our youth, strengthen our families, build our communities and empower our city. Together, we are building parks for life.
