Giving Options

The Indianapolis Parks Foundation exists because of the generosity of individuals, corporations and organizations in the community who provide in-kind and cash donations to support our work. Together, we are building parks for life in Marion County.

 Cash Gifts

This option is simple, fast and flexible.  When making a cash gift to the Indianapolis Parks Foundation, you have the option of making the donation unrestricted or designating the gift to a particular fund, including the Land Trust Fund, Parks Endowment Fund or Operating Fund, or a particular project.

Cash gifts can also be done quickly and easily on-line, just click DONATE!

Gifts in Honor, Memory and Special Occasions

Give the gift of parks!   Honor giving, is a meaningful way to make a gift in "memory of" or in "honor of" a friend or loved one.  It also makes a great birthday, anniversary, wedding or graduation gift!  The gift of parks is a gift that preserves quality parks and green space for generations to come!  Click DONATE now and in the purpose of gift section write "memory" or "honor".

Planned Giving

This gift alternative takes a variety of different forms. As an enduring symbol of your generosity, a bequest supports the changing needs of our parks for generations. A bequest can be a specific lump sum of money willed to one of the Indianapolis Parks Foundation's endowment funds or your own named endowment fund. It can also take the form of a percentage of your estate or a piece of property. In addition, the Indianapolis Parks Foundation can be identified as the residual beneficiary of your estate, as the recipient of a specified gift, a contingent beneficiary or as the ultimate recipient of the assets of a charitable remainder trust.

Real Estate

A gift of real estate can be made to the Indianapolis Parks Foundation while providing the donor with lifetime use of the property. At time of death, the property is an asset of the Indianapolis Parks Foundation and is excluded from the donor's estate. Gifts to the Indianapolis Parks Foundation are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. If you would like to make a tax-deductible contribution to IPF, please fill out a contribution form (print and mail).
