Frequently Asked Questions

How can I support parks in my community?

Shouldn't tax dollars be enough to cover park facilities and programs?

Marion County taxpayers annually spend $45 for our parks compared to an average of $115 by five comparison cities of similar size and demographics. Private dollars help us reduce the tax burden and enable us to provide world-class facilities to Indianapolis and surrounding communities. Contact Jean Kraus for more information.

How does IPF raise its funds?

Through individuals, foundations and corporate support.

What is the best way for me to donate to IPF?

The Indianapolis Parks Foundation accepts gifts in many different ways. Whether you wish to make a cash contribution or wish to include the Parks Foundation in your estate plan, the Parks Foundation can discuss various ways in which you can help in ÒBuilding Parks For Life."
